Okay so I used search and found nothing yet, so I'm just wondering: when are the candysmiths coming this year? I always thought they showed up with the quests and other things, but I haven't seen one yet. I want some new candy cane weapons for my Wintersday monk. lol Thanks!

I don't remember for sure about last year but 2 years ago they showed up a couple of days after the quests began - as did the rift wardens.

If I'm correct, the rest of the collectors, the candysmiths, and the Rift Warden will be here no later than monday - 3 days after the start of the event.

Of course, it is more likely to be that most of them will be around by then.

Thursday, December 20th Towns are redecorated
Friday, December 21st, noon PST Start of the event, NPCs appear, including Wintersday Priests, all quest givers except Rift Wardens and some collectors.
Saturday, December 22nd, ~4 AM PST Additional NPCs appear, including more collectors.
Saturday, December 22nd, ~2 PM PST Additional NPCs appear, including Candysmiths, Rift Wardens and Wintersday Gift Givers.
Monday, December 24th Additional NPCs, including Grentches, appear, presents start spawning.

For this year we can safely assume the same, imo. Just shove the date 2 days back

If you can't wait for them to come into towns, then someone told me that the snowball lobby has them. Have yet to verify for myself though. I'll go do that now. Edit: Can't find the weapon one, they all give gifts. Ah well. That's what *I* needed though. So *yoink* Guess you'll need to wait til later this evening!

Woot! They're here!!! lol I didn't recall them showing up later than the actual quests and towns being decorated. Mods, you can close this now if you'd like.
